INTERVALS, the long promised debut full length record from YNICORNS is memory in sound of the period of early 2014 through late 2016. The birth of a son, moving from one coast to another, loss and recapturing of a personal identity, points in time connected and deﬁned by change. An intensely personal album, it treads on familiar sonic territory for YNICORNS releases and for the first time incorporates ideas, sounds, and drones that dominate live performances.

Recorded in three studios spanning western Virginia to the Florida panhandle, in a variety of methods ranging from virtual amp plugins and multitrack compositions to single takes with a faultily wired pedalboard into a 70s Vibro Champ.
